ISO 9001:2008 Accreditation

Kirby Group was one of the first construction related companies to receive ISO 9001 accreditation in 1994. We currently hold ISO 9001:2008 across all disciplines, including Electrical, Mechanical, Power, Calibrations, and Communications and across all geographic regions.

Our Quality Management System is independently verified by NSAI, a UKAS registered company, who endorse our compliance with ISO 9001:2008

Beyond ISO 9001

The company has developed its quality management procedures beyond ISO 9001 to conform to work in GMP and FDA regulated environments.

The Quality Management System is continuously under review and is subject to regular and continual internal audit, where specific processes and procedures are audited by our quality department.

Furthermore, Kirby Group has established a dedicated Inspection & Testing department, whose primary objectives are to ensure that the finished product is defect free; is of the highest quality; conforms to all standards and regulations and meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Achilles UVDB Verify

In 2008 Kirby Group secured Achilles UVDB registration. Achilles works to identify, qualify, evaluate and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide. Such registration ensures we can provide the best level of service to clients such as Scottish and Southern Energy.

Lloyd's Register

Kirby Power, the HV/MV electrical infrastructure engineering, construction  and commissioning specialist division of Kirby Group has been accepted onto the Lloyds National Electricity Registration Scheme(NERS) in the UK as a Utility Connection Provider(UCP) for contestable works up to 132kV.
