Founded in 1964 in Limerick, Kirby Group Engineering is a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor operating across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, and directly employing over 1,500 highly-skilled professionals.

Kirby provides full mechanical and electrical contracting services as well as specialist high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) design and construction services to clients across a number of different sectors including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Industrial, Commercial, and Power and Renewables.

Current Projects

Kirby have commenced works on a new Data Centre build in Dublin. The Kirby scope of works include the full installation of mechanical services. Completion in 2025.
Kirby has been awarded by our client Siemens Energy the mechanical and electrical HV equipment installation contract for the Greenlink Convertor Station, Co Wexford. Completion in 2024.
Kirby have commenced works on the mechanical and electrical installation of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Limerick. Completion in 2024.
Kirby is currently working on the AIS connection into Huntstown Substation, Dublin. Completion in 2024.
Kirby have commenced CSA works and the mechanical and electrical fit out of a specialised Life Sciences manufacturing facility in Leixlip. Completion 2024.
Kirby have commenced works on the mechanical and electrical installation of a pharmaceutical facility in Sligo. Completion in 2024.
